Users of hard tooth surface reducers all have the same experience. Over time, reducers can produce various vibration and noise situations, which indicates that the internal parts of hard tooth surface reducers are damaged and should be repaired or replaced. The main phenomena (reasons) are as follows:

1. Wear at the bearing hole of the hard tooth reducer, screw hole thread failure;

2. Wear of the shaft surface of the hard tooth reducer, wear of the keyway, and bending of the shaft;

3. Gear wear: Gear wear mainly includes tooth surface wear, broken teeth, gear shaft hole or keyway wear

For the different methods mentioned above, on-site repair and replacement of parts can be adopted as repair methods.

For the non surface wear such as the shaft surface, shaft hole, and keyway of the hard tooth reducer, electroplating can be used to restore the accuracy of the original parts. The bending of the shaft can also be straightened by a press. There is no other way to deal with damage such as tooth breakage, and only new parts can be machined.
